AFP and neoplasm: We analyzed the association between the presence of mutation and clinical background: sex (male or female), age (>60 or ≤60 years), presence of HBV (hepatitis B surface antigen; HBsAg positive or negative), presence of HCV (hepatitis C antibody; HCVAb positive or negative), serum AFP level (≥200 ng/mL or <200 ng/mL), maximum tumor size (≥3.0 cm or <3.0 cm), vascular invasion (presence or absence), tumor number (solitary or multiple), and differentiation of tumor (well or moderately/poorly).
