Hereby, 6/13 (~46%) genes (CCDC88A, CLIP3, ZCCHC18, CHD3, ITM2A, GOLIM4) were significantly higher expressed in all three CLL subsets than in naïve B-cells from healthy individuals, suggesting a role for these genes in CLL (Figure 7C, Supplementary Table 6). The gene discussed is CCDC88A; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
