Since we demonstrated that the combination of selected concentrations of morin and cisplatin sensitizes ovarian cancer cells to cisplatin and we also mentioned the importance of NF-κB pathway in cellular response for morin, it should not be a surprise that we decided to evaluate whether the sensitization of the cells is associated with the changes in the expression of an anti-apoptotic protein, regulated by NF-κB transcription factor [13]. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is ovarian cancer.
