In addition, RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP) assay results revealed that SNHG1 and miR-154-5p were significantly enriched in AGO2-containing micro-ribonucleoprotein complexes, suggesting that the AGO2 protein bound to SNHG1 and miR-154-5p directly in colorectal cancer cells (Fig. 5e and Additional file 7: Figure S3a).
