BCL2L1 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: Since acute pancreatitis is a side effect of some (5–10% of cases) existing therapies for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in children (Kearney et al.,2009; Raja et al.,2014) and Ca2+ signals have been implicated in this process (Peng et al.,2016), it has become particularly relevant to assess the impact of ABT‐199 (along with the selective Bcl‐xL inhibitor A‐1155463 and the Bcl‐2/Bcl‐xL inhibitor ABT‐737) on intracellular Ca2+ homeostasis and dynamics in healthy PACs.
