As a first step to further understand the mechanisms by which ELT-2 controls gene expression, we attempted to identify potential interacting proteins with ELT-2/GATA during infection of C. elegans. A C. elegans strain carrying a stably integrated ELT-2::GFP transgene was exposed to P. aeruginosa prior immunoprecipitation of GFP-tagged ELT-2. This evidence concerns the gene QRSL1 and infection.
