Our study here shows that FcγRIIb knockdown and knockout increase the insulin-induced phosphorylation of AKT and FOXO1 in HepG2 and the animal model (Figure 5), suggesting that FcγRIIb inhibits insulin-induced activation of AKT and FOXO1, and in turn upregulates G6Pase and PEPCK in hyperlipemia in hepatocytes. This evidence concerns the gene FCGR2B and familial hyperlipidemia.
