CRP and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma: With respect to thoracic ESCC, the univariate analysis showed that NLR ≥ 2.5 (P = 0.041), PLR ≥ 103 (P = 0.024), CRP value >10 (P = 0.001), mGPS ≥ 1 (P = 0.001), and CRP/albumin ratio ≥ 9.5 (P = 0.002) were still significant predictors of worse OS, similar to the results in the cervical ESCC group.
