In the pre-frontal cortex of LPD animals, the expression of adenosine deaminase (ADA), adenosine kinase (ADK), ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolade-1 (Entpd1) and cluster of differentiation 73 (CD73), enzymes involved in the regulation of extracellular and intracellular adenosine levels, were significantly increased at P1, compared to controls (Figure 2A). This evidence concerns the gene NT5E and disseminated peritoneal leiomyomatosis.
