As illustrated in the Figure 3A, significantly a higher expression of NF-κB family proteins; p50 (34/50, 68%; p = 0.0002), p52 (29/50, 58%; p = 0.0001), p65 (30/50, 60%; p = 0.0001) and c-Rel (37/50, 74%; p = 0.0001) was observed in majority of tongue cancer cases as compared to adjacent normal controls (Figure 3A and Table 1C). The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is tongue cancer.
