Concerning endothelial cells and TME, it is known that glioblastoma is characterized by aberrant and disorganized vascular morphology and extensive angiogenesis [17,18,19], mainly associated with high expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), an essential regulator of angiogenesis, and other proangiogenic cytokines and chemokines. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and glioblastoma.
