CXCL7 promotes RCC cell proliferation both in vitro and in vivo, and a CXCL7/CXCR2 blockade by antibody or inhibitor reduces tumour growth in mice.34 Altogether, these findings indicate the importance of CXCR2 in the progression and targeting therapy of RCC.43 The gene discussed is CXCR2; the disease is renal cell adenocarcinoma.
