SCO2 and cancer: Proteins co-precipitating with PBK included mitochondrial factors (ATD3A, ATD3B, ATPB, COX2, COX41, SCO1, SCO2, SDHA), members of the histone protein family (H2A1A, H2A2C), which are known to be phosphorylated by PBK [28], a number of proteins involved in cancer metabolic pathways (ACSL3, ADT2, ADT3, PGK1) and heat-shock protein family members (HSP76, HSPB1) (Table S3).
