Interestingly, melanoma patients that were vaccinated with DC vaccines with a content of more than 25% BDCA1+CD14+ cells showed a reduced T-cell response to the immunomonitoring molecule Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH) compared to patients whose DC vaccines contained less than 25% BDCA1+CD14+ cells.
