IP-10 played an important role in T helper (Th) 1 type inflammatory disorders, including autoimmune, neoplastic, and infectious diseases.[21–23] In recent decades, IP-10 has been studied extensively in infectious diseases such as human T-lymphotropic virus type I, dengue virus, HBV, and HCV.[24–28] Most researches have shown that IP-10 has uniquely prognostic utility as a marker of treatment outcome in HBV and HCV.[24–26,29–32].
