The expression level of miR-150 in osteosarcoma tissues was significantly lower than that in adjacent noncancerous tissues (tumor vs. normal: 2.55 ± 0.61 vs. 3.83 ± 0.76, P < 0.001, Fig. 1a), while the expression levels of IGF2BP1 mRNA and protein were both markedly increased in osteosarcoma tissues (for IGF2BP1 mRNA, tumor vs. normal: 4.60 ± 0.93 vs. 2.75 ± 0.62, P < 0.001, Fig. 1b; for IGF2BP1 protein, tumor vs. normal: 2.47 ± 0.43 vs. 1.25 ± 0.36, P < 0.001, Fig. 1c).
