KRT17 and urinary bladder carcinoma: KRT17 (keratin 17) has been reported to be overexpressed not only in bladder cancer [21] but also in other types of cancers such as breast [22], cervical [23], oral [24], esophagus [25], pancreatic [26] and colon cancers [27], and associated with poor prognosis of breast [22] and cervical cancers [23].
