TET2 and leukemia: As can be seen in the histograms of the IGV screenshots in Fig. 3A and in Table 3, while almost all reads had the 2 bp deletion in the BM (leukemia) exome, there were no reads supporting the 2 bp TET2 deletion and only one read showing the DNMT3A point mutation in the nail DNA (Fig. 3B, and read counts in Table 3), confirming the usefulness of nail sample as a source of germline DNA for the identification of somatic variants in leukemia samples.
