To evaluate the role of leukotriene (LT) receptor signaling in monocytes during HMGB1-induced MMD, BMDCs were stimulated with HMGB1 (100 ng/ml) for 10 days in the presence of various leukotriene receptor inhibitors, including U75302 (a BLTR1 inhibitor), LY255283 (a BLTR2 inhibitor), REV5901 (a cysLTR1 inhibitor), and HAMI3379 (a cysLTR2 inhibitor). The gene discussed is HMGB1; the disease is multiminicore myopathy.
