ALB and acute kidney injury: Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that male sex (OR, 4.45; 95% CI, 1.80–11.82; P = 0.002), preoperative use of beta-blockers (OR, 4.81; 95% CI, 1.24–16.50; P = 0.016), low preoperative serum albumin levels (OR, 0.29; 95% CI, 0.11–0.76; P = 0.011), and colloid administration (OR, 5.18; 95% CI, 1.42–18.15; P = 0.011) were associated with postoperative AKI.
