Remarkably, L-Ago2 KO mice are resistant to S961-induced glucose intolerance after 1 week of treatment (Fig. 3a) and S961 treatment of L-Ago2 KO mice resulted in a lower induction of plasma insulin levels and higher hepatic glycogen contents compared with control mice (Fig. 3b, c).
