Due to c-Myc mediating the resistance of pancreatic cancer cells to the BET bromodomain inhibitor JQ1 [9, 10], our data also show that FBP1 decreases the expression of c-Myc in pancreatic cancer, which provides a reasonable mechanism to explain how FBP1 sensitized BET inhibitors treatment in pancreatic cancer. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and pancreatic neoplasm.
