Coexistence of the BRAF V600E mutation and TERTp hotspot mutations, demonstrated an association with gender (p = 0.006), advanced age of the patients (p < 0.0001), advanced disease stage (p < 0.0001), the presence of lymph nodes metastases (p < 0.0001), larger tumor size (p < 0.0001), and infiltration of the tumor capsule (p = 0.0007).
