EZH2 and Miyoshi myopathy: Kikuchi et al.62 have shown that chemotherapy agents increase global H3K27me3 level, inducing MM cell death; conversely, MM cell adhesion to bone marrow stromal cells leads to EZH2 inactivation via phosphorylation of EZH2, counteracting drug-induced H3K27 hypermethylation and MM cell death.
