GATA2 mutations have been reported in acute myeloid transformation of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML)3, familial myelodysplastic syndrome-related acute myeloid leukemia (MDS/AML), pediatric MDS4,5, Emberger syndrome6, and monocytopenia and mycobacterial infection (MonoMAC) syndrome7,8. Here, GATA2 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
