In the group of 59 BC patients, the relationships between the DNA methylation levels of all six evaluated genes and the clinico-histopathological features such as tumour histology, tumour size, LNM status, TNM, grade (G), hormonal receptor (HR) and HER2 status, Ki-67 proliferative index, tumour multifocality and CTC presence were analysed in PT, LNM and PBC samples. The gene discussed is MKI67; the disease is breast cancer.
