GAD1 and Huntington disease: Essential neurogenesis factors (NEUROD1 and GAD1) were downregulated, while axonal guidance, WNT signalling, Ca+ signalling (subunits of the voltage gated CACNA1 channel, plasma membrane Ca+ ATPase, CAMKII, CALM and CREB), glutamate (NMDA and AMPA receptors, SLC1A3 and SLC1A6) and GABA receptor (GAD1 and GAD2) signalling were markedly dysregulated in HD lines.
