Selected tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) targeting angiogenesis and mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin) pathways (i.e. Cabozantinib, Lenvatinib, Pazopanib, Temsirolimus, Everolimus, and antibody- mediated therapeutic compounds such as Bevacizumab), have significantly improved the survival of RCC patients [www.cancer.gov] [5–10]. This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and renal cell adenocarcinoma.
