However, herein, we showed that Lyn mRNA is expressed in CLL lymphocytes (n = 23) at low levels respect to normal B cells (n = 14) (***p < 0.001; Figure 3A), suggesting the anomalous Lyn protein overexpression (****p < 0.0001; Supplementary Figure 3A) was not related to differences in gene transcription and/or mRNA stability but rather to a deregulation in Lyn turnover. The gene discussed is LYN; the disease is B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
