FGFR2 and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma: FGFR2 is a well‐acknowledged prognostic biomarker in ICC, and ICC with FGFR2 fusion genes is considered as a unique molecular subtype of ICC.3 Many FGFR inhibitors are demonstrated to be effective to suppress ICC progression in xenograft mouse models,5 and several are applied in clinical trial of different phase.26 The agents targeting FGFR are nowadays the most promising target therapy in ICC treatment.
