In a comparison between infected and non‐infected roots of wild‐type Arabidopsis plants, we observed that nematode infection is associated with an up‐regulation of SAM synthetase 3 and 4, ACC synthase 7 (ACS7) and ACC oxidase 2 (ACO2), but not ACO3 (Fig. 5; Table S3, see Supporting Information). Here, ACO2 is linked to Nematoda infectious disease.
