Since we observed SUV39H2 overexpression in breast cancer cell lines, we examined the correlation between SUV39H2 expression levels and relapse-free survival (RFS) in breast cancer patients across all subtypes from a published microarray [20] and found that high expression of SUV39H2 was strongly correlated with poor prognosis (P = 1.7×10-11) using Kaplan–Meier analysis (Figure 1C). The gene discussed is SUV39H2; the disease is breast carcinoma.
