RPA1 and ovarian cancer: Besides, miR-30a is not only reported to cause DNA damage by blocking the IGF1R-mediated PI3K/Akt pathway but also can decrease DNA replication by targeting RPA1 in ovarian cancer and gastric cancer, and downexpression of RPA1 increases the phosphorylation of ATM and CHK2, which induces p53 expression and arrests the cells at G1/S-phase [21].
