In the dry AMD group, the AH-concentrations of CXCL5, CCL11, CCL24, GM-CSF, IL-4, CCL2, CCL13, MIF, CCL19, CCL17, TGF-β2, and TGF-β3 were higher than those in either the healthy controls or the eyes with treated wet AMD (Fig 1, Table 2). Here, CCL2 is linked to dry age related macular degeneration.
