In the dry AMD group, the AH-concentrations of CXCL5, CCL11, CCL24, GM-CSF, IL-4, CCL2, CCL13, MIF, CCL19, CCL17, TGF-β2, and TGF-β3 were higher than those in either the healthy controls or the eyes with treated wet AMD (Fig 1, Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene CSF2 and dry age related macular degeneration.
