We also found that patients with advanced-stage tumors had less CD4 and CD8, lower CD4/FOPX3 and CD8/FOXP3 ratios, and higher CD3/CD4 and CD3/CD8 ratios, which may suggest that as their tumors progressed, the tumor microenvironment shifted toward a more immunosuppressive environment.
