As an ovarian tumor domain (OUT)-containing enzyme, de-ubiquitinating enzyme (DUB) A interacts directly with TRAF3 and catalyzes the cleavage of Lys-63-linked ubiquitin chains of TRAF3, thereby contributing to the dissociation of TBK1 from TRAF3 and blocking signal transductions mediated by RLRs (Kayagaki et al., 2007). Here, TRAF3 is linked to ovarian neoplasm.
