Depending on the mice model with LGP2 deletion, dendritic cells (DCs) derived from these mice fail to generate IFN production upon infection by encephalomyocarditis virus (EMCV), vesicular stomatitis virus (VSV), and Newcastle disease virus (NDV) (Venkataraman et al., 2007; Satoh et al., 2010), suggesting that LGP2 might play a positive role in vitro by recognize some viral infections to promote IFN production. Here, DHX58 is linked to viral infectious disease.
