To explore the mechanism of GATA4 effects on the biology behavior of pancreatic cancer cells, agilent expression microarray profiling was used and screened out 6533 genes of significant levels of differential expression in GATA4-overexpressed cell lines as compared to pancreatic cancer cells CFPAC1 (>2-fold change; P<0.05); 2623 genes were significantly up-regulated and 3910 were significantly down-regulated in GATA4-overexpressing cell lines. The gene discussed is GATA4; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
