We also observed a nonsignificant but positive eQTL association between rs495139 and a probe for ENOSF1 mRNA in MOC, as well as an inverse eQTL association between rs495139 and TYMS mRNA in MOC tumors, which contradicts our hypothesis that rs495139 might decrease ENOSF1 antisense mRNA to possibly increase TYMS mRNA availability for DNA synthesis and tumor growth.
