Our group has focused on two members of this superfamily, whose role in cancer is less well-defined, namely APRIL (A PRoliferation Inducing Ligand, TNFSF13) and BAFF (B-cell Activating Factor of the TNF Family, also known as B Lymphocyte Stimulator (BLyS), TNFSF13B). The gene discussed is TNFSF13; the disease is cancer.
