Analysis of the fraction of Annexin V (AV)/propidium iodide (PI)-positive cells at later time points showed that accumulation of FSTL1-deficient CRC cells in G1 phase was accompanied by increased cell death at 72 hours (Figure 4A, right panel and Supplementary Figure 2A, right panel). The gene discussed is FSTL1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
