The concentrations of plasma NT-proBNP in the NDM, DM, and DM + PKK groups were 74.70 ± 8.596 pg/mL, 139.9 ± 23.64 pg/mL, and 86.40 ± 8.103 pg/mL, respectively (NDM group vs. DM group, p = 0.0116; DM vs. DM + PKK group, p = 0.0429). Here, NPPB is linked to diabetes mellitus.
