Consistently, in this study, the group vaccinated with DCs + pomalidomide + dexamethasone displayed decreased tumor growth, prolonged survival, induced NK cell, and T lymphocytes responses associated with strong antimyeloma activities against myeloma cells and NK-sensitive YAC-1 cells, increased numbers of effector cells (such as CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, memory T cells, NK cells, and M1 macrophages), and decreased numbers of suppressor cells including MDSCs, Tregs, and M2 macrophages in the spleens of the vaccinated mice. Here, CD4 is linked to plasma cell myeloma.
