In our study, we interestingly found that WISP1 protein level was more significantly upregulated in PDAC tissues with Tp53 mutation than in PDAC tissues with wild-type Tp53. And a significant correlation was observed between increased malignant phenotype of tumors from WD-PDAC to MD- or PD-PDAC and shift from cytoplasmic expression to nuclear accumulation of WISP1. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and Wilson disease.
