These data, therefore, at least partly recapitulate the clinical situation in which increased infiltration of CD8+ T cells of both melanoma (Clark et al., 1989; Clemente et al., 1996; Mackensen et al., 1993) and triple‐negative breast cancer (Salgado et al., 2015; Savas et al., 2016) is associated with a more favorable prognosis.
