Within HIP, significantly increased expression levels were observed in AD subjects for both DTNA (Fig. 6B, z = 2.16, p = 0.031) and MLC1 (Fig. 6C, z = 2.25, p = 0.025), while only a trend was observed towards increased FXYD1 expression subjects with AD diagnosis (Fig. 6D, z = 1.66, p = 0.096). Here, FXYD1 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
