In addition to differences we observed in RV dysfunction, we also found significant associations between CRP and NT-proBNP, an important prognostic indicator and biomarker of RV structure and function, and endothelin-1, a biomarker of both PAH and PH associated with left sided heart disease[35, 36, 43, 44].
