In a murine model with the breast cancer cell line EMT-6, IMM-101 showed to increase the response to anti-PD1 antibodies, resulting in a significant (i) reduction of tumour volume, (ii) increase of the intra-tumour CD8+ T cells/Treg ratio and (iii) increase of the IFN-γ/IL-10 ratio in spleen cells compared to anti-PD1 alone [16]. This evidence concerns the gene IFNG and breast cancer.
