PRDX4 and ovarian carcinoma: A study evaluating 68 invasive ovarian carcinomas using immunohistochemistry reported that the mean survival in patients with higher cytoplasmic PRDX4 expression was longer than for patients with lower PRDX4 expression; these authors therefore proposed that PRDX4 was associated with a better prognosis in ovarian cancer, but this was not independent of histological grade or clinical stage [29].
