In conclusion, our results provide evidence that (1) AIB1 promotes lung adenocarcinoma aggressiveness in vitro and in vivo by upregulating the expression of an important downstream target, CXCR4, and (2) AIB1 and CXCR4 may potentially serve as novel prognostic markers and/or therapeutic targets for this disease. This evidence concerns the gene CXCR4 and lung adenocarcinoma.
