To determine whether the ectopic overexpression of AIB1 could enhance the migration and invasion capacity of lung adenocarcinoma cells, the A549-AIB1 cell line, which overexpressed AIB1, was constructed and used to perform wound-healing and invasion assays (Fig. 3a left) The wound-healing assay showed that the ectopic overexpression of AIB1 enhanced A549 cell migration at the edge of the exposed regions (P < 0.01, Fig. 3a right).
