To our best knowledge, some previous papers reported that carcino-embryonic antigen (CEA) and mesothelin (MSLN) are tumor-associated antigens (TAAs), which are simultaneously overexpressed in the majority of pancreatic cancers, ovarian cancers, and other cancers, resulting in the pancreatic cancer AsPC-1 expressing MSLN and CEA as a cognate tumor cell in this work [24–27]. The gene discussed is CEACAM5; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
